  • Due to the ongoing pandemic we decided to switch to online consultations to reduce patient contact. We felt that this was needed socially distance to be responsible in helping to continue to flatten that curve with regard to hospitalisations and infections.

What is involved?

  • All you need is a smart device or computer with video and audio.
  • We send you a link via email. We can use numerous applications but mainly Zoom, Whatsapp video or Skype.
  • You can expect the same expert knowledge and advice that you would get in the clinic setting. We use what you are saying to us, looking at how you are moving and simple tests that we can do over video to try and mirror what we would do in our clinic consultations.
  • We then send you through a personalized exercise program with videos and any other recommendations by email.

What do I need to wear for the consultation?

  • It may work best if you wear loose fitting clothes and shorts if it is a lower limb injury.

  • Yes, if you have health insurance you may be able to claim back some of your physiotherapy costs, depending on your policy.
